Residency Programmes for Hotels
Mon Nii places John Wing Flower — celebrity shaman and healer, resident healing artist at the Spa at Hotel Chelsea in New York City — in residence at a small number of the world's great hotels. The calendar for 2027 and 2028 is now being selected.
The Residency
John treats the house's guests himself, in a quiet treatment space in the spa or a suite converted for the purpose. Each treatment is personalised, and across a residency the treatments form a progression — each builds on the last, toward a nervous system that can regulate itself. Mon Nii members travel to the property for his residencies, many of them first-time visitors to the hotel.
Mon Nii in Residence
For houses that want the work year-round, Mon Nii trains a pair of the property's own practitioners in the full method during an opening residency. The pair then offer Mon Nii treatments on the spa's menu, and John returns every six months to retrain, deepen the work and hold his own residency in the same visit.
The Register
There is demand for John Wing Flower's work now, and the houses that partner with him continue those partnerships. Houses considering a residency are invited to take their place on the register while the 2027 and 2028 calendar is set.
